Your A&HT Parish Health

Card Ministry
Remember to contact Eric, the church
office or Betsy Cooper if you know of anyone who would appreciate a message
from their church family. We have sent over 300 cards this year thanks to Betsy
Cooper and Leslie Kramig. Betsy welcomes donations of cards and we thank ECW
for underwriting the cost of postage.

MELP - Medical Equipment Lending Program
We
have items available for short term loan e.g. walkers,
commodes, shower stools etc. Please contact the church
office to arrange pick up.

MAY IS ASTHMA AND ALLERGY AWARENESS MONTH, so look for
new information on the Parish Health Ministry bulletin
board in the
main hallway. Do take time to check out the tips and
information.
Kathy Kessler does a wonderful job each month of
displaying relevant
health information.
MEDITATION PROGRAM
Every Wednesday from 9-10am in
the
Parish Health Room. Come and spend this time with a
small group to listen to an audio recording (words over background
music) of Guided Imagery (which follows a path of visual imagination) or
of Guided Affirmations (which create direct verbal associations),
relax and discuss what you have heard. These sessions are led by Maurice
Bason or Terry Kessler. Copies of the CDs of these recordings can be borrowed at
the PHM bulletin board. Contact Maurice or Terry with any
questions or to let them know of your own experience with guided meditation
in any aspect of maintaining wellness or recovering from illness.

Guided imagery is a program of
directed thoughts and suggestions that guide your imagination toward a relaxed,
focused state.

COMMUNITY CPR/AED CLASS
May 24, 6-9 pm. Registration is
required for this class - call
821 - 6836. Cost is $20 per person.
Minimum age is 12 years. Class held at Wyoming Emergency Services Building on
Grove Avenue.
MELP (Medical Equipment Lending

which is available for loan to parishioners or anyone in the community who has
a temporary need; walkers, wheel chairs, commodes, shower stools etc. Please
contact the church office to arrange pick up.
