A&HT has a very active Parish Health Ministry, which seeks to promote the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of the congregation and the entire community.  The Parish Health Ministry Cabinet is composed of both medically-trained professionals and non-medically trained individuals who enjoy nurturing and helping others.  The Parish Health Ministry Chair is Kathi Ackerman.  She can be reached at (513) 761-1776.

On-going activities within A&HT include blood pressure screenings, greeting card ministry, first aid station monitoring, health education bulletin board, influenza vaccine clinics, visitor welcome bags and other special programs.

For the community, Parish Health Ministry created and sponsors a monthly Diabetes Support Group, which meets at the church on the fourth Monday evening of certain months.  Education is provided through guest speakers and informal discussions, and healthy snacks are available for the meetings through the generosity of ECW.  To obtain a meeting schedule, please contact the church office at 821-5341 or aht@eos.net.
